Welcome To LBIS
I am very pleased to be able to welcome you all to Le Bocage International School (LBIS) website. I hope that whether you are an existing student, parent, member of staff or whether you just wish to find out more about the school, that you find the website interesting and informative.
We are extremely proud of the educational programme LBIS offers and the great pace of development which has occurred since its founding in 1990. A sign of this progress is that LBIS has been a Council of International Schools (CIS) accredited school since November 2005. LBIS combines a demanding academic curriculum with an active and engaging programme of sports, cultural and performing arts activities. Our students consistently perform well in such challenging programmes as the International Baccalaureate Diploma and the International General Certificate of Secondary Education.
Our mission is to provide an education for citizens of a better world. LBIS is committed to providing a high quality international secondary education in English that challenges students to realize their full potential in a caring and supportive environment.
On a personal note, I believe one of the most striking features of the LBIS community is its friendliness and the wonderful welcome we extend to new students and parents. I encourage you to visit us and to see first-hand our facilities and meet our teaching staff and to experience the atmosphere at the school.
