What is CAS?
International Baccalaureate (IB) prepares students to be responsible citizens of the world and as such they need to be equipped with knowledge, skills and attitudes which can help them to face the challenges of life
Creativity, Action, Service, an essential element in every student’s Diploma Programme, provides a counterbalance to the rigors of a demanding academic programme. It involves students in experiential learning through a range of artistic, sporting, physical and service activities.
Aims Of CAS
CAS aims to develop students with the following learning outcomes:
- Increase their awareness of their own strengths and weaknesses.
- Undertake new challenges.
- Plan and initiate activities.
- Work collaboratively with others.
- Show perseverance and commitment.
- Engage with issues of global importance.
- Consider the ethical implication of their actions.
- Develop new skills.
