PE Department Involved In After-School Activities
Track & Field.
Training sessions are run two to three times a week at Maryse Justin Stadium, Reduit. We start at 15.30 and finish at around 17.15. The group consist of 12-15 students ranging from 11 to 14 years old. They get the opportunity of learning skills that are not taught at school, but they also develop abilities that they have acquired earlier. During one session, we normally have a go at a sprinting, a throwing and a jumping event. Throughout terms 1 and 2, the load and the level of difficulty have been increased progressively. Some have noticed tremendous improvement in their physical abilities and skills. Training continues even during the school holidays. We are expecting some medals at the end of the year in the Jeux De L'Espoir; event organized by the Ministry of Youths and Sports.

Hats off to them!
